What is HET?

The HET is defined as a fixture that flushes at 20 percent below the 1.6-gpf/6.0-lpf maximum or less, equating to a maximum of 1.28-gpf/4.8-lpf.

On average, a family of four can reduce useage by more than 60 percent. Savings could be three or four times that amount if the model being replaced is a leaky toilet or a pre-1980 model that uses 5.0 gpf or more.
